I had a 2010 and now a 2013 TL SHAWD w/Tech and on the 2010, after a couple of years, the leather on the side bolsters really began to sag and wrinkle. The 2013 only has 1,200 miles, but Im beginning to notice it there too.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I've read online where a member has used Lexol cleaner and conditioner on the seats of his 3G TL and the seats looked brand new 5 years later.

I am currently using Lexol 3 in 1 and it works great. Best of. Luck to you... I know it can be frustrating.

I purchased my TL with a little under 21,000 miles. At the time of purchase the side bolster of the drivers side seat already had the wrinkles. I can tell by using the product the area is looking better, however the wrinkles are still there. Time will tell if the Lexol 3 in 1 will make the wrinkles go away.

the only thing that is going to make the wrinkles go away is to sit in the seat correctly....i notice all the time that when some passengers get out of the seat its all wrinkled up, and other times they get out and it looks perfect....

when i see the wrinkles, i smooth it back out by hand, and sometimes letting the car sit in the sun for a bit will bring them out too....

if they have been there for a long time, they are not coming out...

Are you overweight? Are you sitting in the seat properly?

I'm fat as fuck, side bolster is shot. However, just getting in and out of the car will mash it down.

Lexol will not fix the problem. The issue is with the foam underneath the leather. In order to fix it you'd need to have an upholstery shop take the leather off and refoam the area. $$$$$

You can't stop every wrinkle, but lexol FROM THE START of ownership will help.

.....
Agree.

It's not about the size or the weight of the driver.

Just getting in and out of the car will wrinkle up the side bolster that is closest to the door.

Are you sitting with a gangster lean to one side?

I know my side bolsters on the seat have an issue because I'm 6' 4" and there's no way to straighten my legs out completely.
