Need help with diagnostic errors

2012 TL SH-AWD automatic

Was driving home last night. About a 3 hour drive. As I was driving I got a message through the Nav screen. Actually multiple messages.

Air bag error noted. This one came up 4 times. Once with the code 61-1
Check oil level. I did this at home and the oil level was right at the full level.
Brake fluid level low. Did not check this, but with 55K could be low.
Emissions error with a code number.

First, it seems odd that these occurred simultaneously.
Second, no warning lights on the instrument cluster.
Third, oil level was OK

I have an appointment with the dealer to evaluate, but was hoping someone might have had this problem and could give me some insight.

61-1 is "open circuited In Driver Seat Belt Buckle Switch". Probably something is wrong there. The cascade effects some of these errors have, software-wise, is unpredictable. So the other errors may clear once the main one is fixed. Start with the seat belt buckle and wires down there and see how far you can go...

edit: full list of gremlin (lol) error codes here: Full SRS code list - Honda-Tech

Seat belt buckle is a lifetime warranty item, so you might want to start with your dealer.

Please keep us posted and let us know what the dealer has to say as a diagnosis.

Final follow-up. Car was at the dealer yesterday.

The diagnosis is no diagnosis.

Dealer confirmed multiple error messages on the nav screen.
No error codes were logged into the computer.
Reset error messages on the Nav.
Test drive 10 miles with no return.
Washed an already clean car
Returned car

Speculation is a "voltage spike of some sort"

Reassuring, but useless. At least now it is documented.

Hmmm. Makes you wonder whether it was a one time anomaly or is there truly something wrong that is waiting to rear its ugly head again. At least at this point you are starting with a clean slate and as you mentioned it has been documented with your dealer.

Ya. Hoping it is an anomaly. With documentation, I can hope that future related problems will be covered.

I really do like this car. My loaner was a 2014 TL tech, no AWD. Seems like little things were made cheaper. Leather steering wheel was not quite as nice, rear view mirror no longer has a power switch. Glad to have mine back.

How old is the battery in the car? also I would have them check all the fuseboxes to make sure there isn't any corrosion inside from water seeping in!

Battery is less than a year old. Replaced under warranty after receiving a "check battery" warning. I understand this is not uncommon with the original battery.
