Low fuel warning no longer appears in MID
Low fuel warning no longer appears in MID
my low fuel warning used to come up on the mid around 35 miles left on a tank
now for some reason this has stopped working ?
anyone else notice this issue?

Does the low fuel warning on the MID/low fuel indicator light ever come on if you let the range go to 0 miles?
It sounds like you are expecting it to appear around a certain remaining range value, which isn't an accurate method, as the range calculation can vary, per the owner's manual:
Range
This shows the estimated distance you can travel on the fuel remaining in the fuel tank. This distance is estimated from the fuel economy you received over the last several miles (U.S.) or kilometers (Canada), so it will vary with changes in speed, traffic, etc.

Well, you can start by checking if fuse #12 (7.5 A, marked BACKUP) under the dash, driver side. Other thing you can do is to remove and re-install fuse #15 (10 A) in the engine compartment fuse box. Leave it out for 10-20 seconds. Then check to see if you see the right fuel level on the dashboard. If it has gone up or down then your fuel gauge sending unit is messed up and you'll probably need a new one. But for starters, check fuse #12 under the dash and #15 in the engine bay.
PS. forgot that the gauges have a self-diagnostic mode you can enter with some complex on-off sequence of lights, sel/reset button and engine on/off button... but that later when I have some time.

OK, first of all do not touch the gas tank, gas pump, gas lines and anything else that has fuel in or near it. Unless you want us to read your name in the news that you blew up the entire hood... retroactive birth control, and Darwin was right
No warranties made, implied, blah blah blah. You get the picture?
Our cars are packed with self-diagnostic stuff. To get to them, Honda has designed a funky sequence of on/off buttons, switches, codes, etc. One of these self-diagnostic funky sequences is for the gauges self-diagnostic. Here is how to get to it.
1. press and hold the sel/reset button (do not release until [5] below)
2. turn the light switch on
3. turn the ignition, i.e. push the button to on (once)
4. within 5 seconds of [3] turn the light switch off, on, off.
5. within 5 seconds of [4] release the sel/reset and push and release the sel/reset 3 times.
That will put the system in self-diagnostic mode. Lights are going to start blinking on the dash, gauge needles are going to go from min to max and back, christmass trees are going to appear out of nowhere! Important is what you'll see in the sub-display in the middle of the dash with all possible network error codes, like F-CAN and B-CAN. If nothing comes up, well, blame the gremlins and move on.
If you not sure what the eff you are doing, take it to the dealer and explain the issue. Keep your fingers crossed that the tech who will look at it, will open the shop repair manual and follow a rather complex debugging procedure to see if a part has failed or a short has been created or loose connector is the issue.
my 2 cents + taxes.
