Help please! Switchback LED Problem!
So I installed everything correctly but the issue I'm facing is that one side or sometimes both after a few miles of driving, it would completely shut off. If I turn the light off then back on, both will come back on like normal. What can this be? I'm so stressed! Been messing with this light issue for over 2 days and have no clue. And yes I have the 6ohm50watt resistors and bought the bulb from DDM Tuning. Any feedback would be great!

@potmilkz I'm using DDM Tunings T25-1157-60SMD-White-Amber Switchbacks. I had trouble using the tap clips so I exposed a small section of the wires to make sure the taps connect. The resistors are working bc without them my car was hyper flashing. But after driving it to the gym or whatever, I notice either one or both is turned off and the amber blinker wouldn't even function unless I tran the lights off fully and turn them back on. Is this a power issue? Can it be my HID fog lights I installed that's pulling battery?
Yes they will. If I turned them off and then back on it will work as normal. White stays on and blinks amber. After driving short distance either 1 or both will turn off and blinker will stop working unless I repeat the process. Weird thing is that even with the lights off, it does not throw any code or hyper flash letting me know the bulb is out. any ideas?
you should redo the connection, and move left to right and right to left.. do not use the exposed area you cut off.
it can be various things.. bad led bulb, wiring not making a solid connection, bad resistor..

He does need to make solid connections but what could cause them to work fine after he turns them off then back on? That parts makes it very hard to troubleshoot.

Also would reversing the polarity on the bulb help?
its very hard to determine.. but after reading what you had stated.. it seems like it could be a faulty unit..
but as stew said.. its very hard to troubleshoot..
my money is on a bad unit.. but nonetheless, check the wiring, if needed try to make new connections. turn them on and shake the attached wiring to check for any loose connections.
my driver side DRL has been out for a week, havent had time to fix it.. but the car doesnt tell me its out.. its normal.. i just hate it when sellers advertise 50,000 hour life.. and ive only ran a small fraction of those hours.
