Gurgling sound from the rear....

I have a 2012 FWD TL that on cool mornings makes this gurgling sound from the rear. It's been doing it for almost as long as I've had the car (original owner). It's not a problem and goes away quickly once I get under way. I notice it at the stop light when leaving my neighborhood and does not return until the next cool morning. Anyone experiencing a similair problem..?

Fuel Pressure/ bad fuel cap/ check valve / maybe something in EVAP/ maybe something plugged or leaking is the first thing that comes to mind? Any codes coming up on code scanner? (Best guess ATM) Lets see what other people think....

On the 12-14, the transmission filter has been known to make a gurgling noise. Is that your issue, I don't know.

I haven't checked for error codes yet. It's weird, it only happens when the cool weather arrives and only is heard at the first stoplight I hit in the morning and doesn't come back until the next morning. Other than that, the car runs great. It doesn't appear to have any impact on performance at this time.

Is the transmission filter issue just with the original filter, or do replacements develop the same problem? I bought my '13 SH-AWD 3 weeks ago, and I noticed that gurgling sound from the engine compartment and a thread here on the TSB for it, so the dealer replaced the filter today.

As the other say, if you hear gurgling and it's near the front then
95pct chance it is the ATF filter Part # 25430-PLR-003 under the battery.
25430-PLR-003 | Acura FILTER (ATF) - Bernardi Parts

If it is truly in the rear then
Fuel Pressure/ bad fuel cap/ check valve / maybe something in EVAP/ maybe something plugged or leaking is the first thing that comes to mind? Any codes coming up on code scanner? (Best guess ATM) Lets see what other people think....
As always, if you replace the ATF filter make sure you double check your year, just in case it is different, though I think it the same among all TLs.

My sincere thanks for everyone input on this issue. After listening CAREFULLY this morning, the noise is definately coming from the engine compartment. I will be taking it in for service with TSB in hand.
Question...... Should the dealer charge me for this TSB issue (my warranty is over I believe. I bought my 2012 TL has an part of Acura's used car warranty in 2013 and believe it only lasted until 65,000 miles..?) ..?

I have the same car and same problem. It's done that for me every day since I bought it two years ago from a certified Acura dealer with 12,000 miles. I also bring it in for regular maintenance and the dealer hasn't said anything about it. Therefore I'm assuming it's not hurting anything and is just a minor annoyance when starting the car.
