Nuisance warnings still appear. Have replaced gas cap and had tested. Have replaced the canister purge valve. Local mechanic also puzzled. Anything else I can try ? 2012 Acura TL Base model no mods.

There is no code just the warning message

 

Did you review technical service bulletin 11-012 which can be found in the sticky threads above under "technical Service Bulletins" for the 2012 model?

Unfortunately this does not apply to our car as our VIN is out of the range of the service bulletin

Acura does not acknowledge it for our car

Our VIN ends in CA023612

Bulletin stops at CA005403

suppose they could try it anyway at our cost

 

can you post the service bulletin I can’t find that one,
when my gas cap light went on the purge valve solved the issue

I replaced the purge valve with Dorman but did no good. Bit the bullet and went to dealer who did system check and no leaks. Replaced the purge valve with OEM brand and problem gone for about six months.

But now I getting the emissions code that says I have system leak.
