Common parts TL vs Accord

Good morning from SE PA,
(Did not know where to post this)
I was curious, what specific parts does the 4G TL have in common with the Honda Accord? I was hoping to be able to expand available parts from both brands.
Is there a Acurazine thread/post that addresses commonalities?

As an aside, has anyone swapped out their AT for a 5 or 6 speed MT?

There is parts commonality between the two brands.
With that said, it is usually a part 'case by case' basis that one can find that information out.
The simplest way is to obtain the exact complete Acura OEM part number, from an Acura online part vendor, and plug said part number into a Honda online part vendor website.
Here is an example, Relay Assembly, Main (Mitsuba) 39400-S84-003 used in my 2003 Acura CL-S six speed (a glorified Honda Accord) & many others:
39400-S84-003 Genuine Acura Main Relay Assembly (Mitsuba) (acurapartswarehouse.com)

This relay is also used in many Honda models as well:
39400-S84-003 - Genuine Honda Relay Assembly, Main (hondapartsnow.com)

I don't know of an existing compiled list that shows ALL compatibility between ALL Acura & Honda models here on the form, though.
In summation, obtain the OEM part number for the part desired search the web for the best price, with the thought that you are more likely to purchase a 'genuine'
Acura / Honda part, though more expensive, from an OEM online vendor rather than ebay or Amazon.
To save even more, with a 'roll of the dice' you could always 'harvest' compatible parts from local salvage yards to save further.
Good Luck.

Sorry, thought TL was luxury version of Honda Accord. I was wrong. Per the How-tos , the TL is the luxury version of the Honda Civic.
So what specific parts does the 4G TL have in common with the Honda Civic?

Thanks, Zeta.
I misled you, the TL is the luxury version of the Honda Civic. Your info still was helpful.

Since you posted in the 4th Generation TL forum, I'm guessing you have one between the years 09-14?
If so, the V6 J-series engine has more in common with the Honda Accord chassis than any factory made 4 cylinder Civic.

08-12 v6 accords share some similarities with the 09-14 TL 3.5 fwd. Mostly in that they have j35z series engines. The engine bays and suspension are similar as well. The TL j35z6 is the most potent varient of the z series motors. Accord coupes were available with a 6spd manual. However, it is only fwd, vs 6spd manual available in the 3.7 TL AWD.

I've actually ordered OEM parts from Acurapartswarehouse and received Honda parts on more than one occasion.

I don't recall ever getting parts that say "Acura" on them. Everything I remember (even from an Acura dealer's parts counter), said Honda on the package. Only exception I can think of is that their touch up paint said "Acura".

Now that I think of it, I can't recall parts with the Acura name, though, I've received these over the years:

Agree, with exception of fluids, a few things I recall ordering which came with Honda labels: CL Type S engine block, NSX shift knobs, TL shifter and shift cables, MDX tow hitch kit.

It's a conspiracy...
