Angry Check airbag system after riding on curb

I was turning right and right rear wheel on my 2011 TL FWD went on pretty high curb. Immediately after that I got "Check airbag system" warning... I pulled over to check damages
I thought I damaged the rim but turns out I did not. Rim looks OK and car drives normally. Any idea why "Check airbag" turned ON ? I already called my mechanic and I scheduled a visit to connect tester and see the code.

Anyone had similar thing ? Thanks

You may have damaged an airbag sensor.

go to the dealer, tell them this came on out of no where..

do not mention you hit a curb or anything. if your car is still under warranty they will fix it.

^^ One advice, get a extended warranty. You can get a really good deal on a extended waranty these days.

Check all the connections as mentioned in the above error code. Sometimes the jolt, as a result of bumping the curb, might shake loose a few connectors which were not connected up tightly in the 1st place.

That's what my mechanic is suspecting... My TL is a rebuilt car and had both airbags and right curtain replaced. Some connectors might be loose but without a diagram its kinda hard to find them...
Can anyone point me where to get these diagrams ?

I did that in 2003 when I bought my wife's 2001 Mitsu. Paid $1200 and never used it...(it expired soon anyway)
I tried to use it once when radiator hose failed but they refuse it saying it's a "consumable" thing. After that I said never again...

A body shop might have more familiarity with something like this since they replace them more regularly. I would do the battery boot as was prior suggested, but don't hold all that much hope.

Finally I was able to get my “check airbag light” fixed! Here is the full story…
I went to dealer but they were not helpful at all (and treat me like intruder btw) - they were testing it for few hours, even called mfg tech line and then told me they can’t fix because the car was probably not rebuilt properly (they don’t know if new airbags were used blah…blah…blah). At the end service adviser came to me laughing "I hope you got a good deal on the car" and showed me an estimate for $4600 (half for labor and half for the parts – all right side airbags, SRS unit, all sensors and passenger’s seat). I paid $80 for diagnostic and run away…
Then my friend gave me a number to a guy who is living from fixing car electronics – I showed him a code and he immediately said “we have to clear SRS crash data” – removed SRS module, went to his car for 15 minutes, plugged it back and done – no more “check airbag light” J
Total time: 30 minutes and charged me $50 = best service ever!

How did he remove the SRS module? I thought you had to remove the whole navi system, center console to get to the SRS module
