Yes, the blinking red light indicates the immobilizer is active. Does the accessories come on and the screen display the insert key error (assuming you have push-start). Or is everything more or less acting dead.

Im having this same issue. Am getting no power and everything pretty much dead. Only horn and hazard lights work. There’s a small circular red light blinking on the dash cluster. Any clues?

The small red light on the dash is the alarm indicator. Replace the battery in your key fob. Or try inserting it into the slot. That's assuming you have the Tech or Advance trim.

Its the tech. Replaced the fob battery and inserted the key with no help. Brand new car battery too.

No power
I watched a you tube video about jumping slot 4 and 9 on the ecu plug to reset the ABS and VSA lights on the dash when I connected the wire to those ports I shorted out everything inside the car no power everything in the engine compartment fuse box looks good any ideas about what BLEW or what fuse it might be
