A/C issue
A/C issue
I had the issue where the compressor would stop working midway and blow hot air and if i turn the A/C on again it would work.
Dropped it at dealer and they said A/C is low on freon , my point is if thats the case there must be a leak but dealer says its possible its normal loss of freon due to the car being 5 yrs old. Does that sound right?

exactly, they are saying it is very difficult to find the leak, if any and out some gel to find out later if it leaks. they are also saying it could be normal as its 5 yrs old which i think is BS because my 10 yr old honda never had any A/C issues.
What should i do?

Did they put dye in? The system is closed. There is a leak. Have the pressure checked before adding refrigerant. I'm assuming they will just fill it back up with freon and send you on your merry way until it all leaks out again and you will be back at square one with them and you will be saying- see I told you there was a leak- now find it.
The easiest things to look for under the hood are the fuses/ relays. Tell them to look at that.
I had a similar situation in my 3G recently. After realizing that the service advisor and tech didn't know how to properly diagnose the issue ( the dealer did the same thing like they are doing with you) I took it to a Indy mechanic and they discovered the Evaporator was leaking.

they are just too lazy to find the leak.
