I've been driving my TL with tech package for a little more than a year now. It's generally good, but recently I am bothered by a continuous buzzing noise from the wheel especially when I'm going up a hill and stepping on the gas pedal, it's sorta like electronic buzzing noise from the wheel. Do you guys have similar experience? I don't know if I should bring this to the dealership, because it's sometimes there and sometimes not there.

 

Buzzing? Front wheel or rear? Even the brakes are churchmouse quiet on the 4g compared to the shoulder raping seatbelt lockers on the 3g. Not normal.

You can usually tell by the pitch / audible range of the noise on rotating parts where it is coming from.

 

not the front or rear wheels, the steering wheels.... sorry about the confusion.

2009 and newer are electric steering, i doubt that thread pertains to this issue....

 

any solutions to this?
