No longer a problem at this point, but thought I would post.
On Friday my car popped up with the check battery light.
So early Saturday, I took it to the dealer to have it checked and sure enough, the battery was going bad. I only have 7800 miles on the car and bought it at the end of June.

When I got the car back, the dealer tried to say something about my "aftermarket amplifier might have been the cause". So at that point, I pointed out the fact that the amp had been professionally installed by a shop they had recommended, only came on if the car was on, and had been in my Grand Am for 7 years running on one of Advanced Auto batteries without any issues.

He quickly shut up after that.
