Battery Drain

I am at my wits end! I am fairly sure the Bluetooth module is causing battery drain. Have had it on order for months. Back ordered. Anyway, it usually happens if the car sits for 2 or 3 days. Been like this for a year or so. Recently, we went on a long drive and it was dead the following morning. The battery tests good. I did just notice the center console button lights and shifter no longer light up at night. All still works. Just the lights are out. I checked so many fuses and can’t find one that is blown. I have it on a trickle charger which usually keeps it charged, but since the trip, the trickle charger is not charging fast enough and the battery still is dead. I have to disconnect the battery and charge the battery, then I can reconnect it and get it started again. I do have it scheduled for the mechanic. Not sure if anyone had ideas about what it could be.

How about instead of replacing the Bluetooth module you just disconnect it for a time to rule it out?

I guess I should. I use the Bluetooth all the time, so I haven’t. I will look up how and see if it is something I can do.

I removed the Bluetooth module. Still hoping for help if someone knows what could be the issue with the center console lights (climate control and radio button lights) Fuse number? I’ve checked a bunch of the fuses. Including all the ones under the hood. I wonder if it could be more than a fuse.

Found it

The lighting issue ended up being fuse number 6 on the passenger side. Someone removed it. Have no idea who. Weird. Anyway, plugged a new one in an lights work again. Phew.

Now just waiting to see if the battery drain is gone with the Bluetooth module disconnected.

Brief update. The car has been sitting for several days and continues to start! The battery drain issue was the Bluetooth module after all. I wish I disconnected it sooner. I still have a replacement one that has been on back order for months, so I will wait for it and put it in whenever I get it. Thanks to everyone for your advice and also posted pics showing me how to remove the module myself.
