I went on vacation for about two weeks ,I forgot the dome light on so the battery was dead when I came back . I jumpstart the car and everything seemed to be ok but now when the car is off for a while I noticed it struggles to get going again .any advice would be appreciated

Get your battery tested because you might of killed it completely and even check the connects.

Sounds like the battery is toast.

in the future-if that happens you should completely charge the battery-not just jump it. Its probably toast. How old is the battery?

if that is the case-I would get it tested. It probably has a pro-rated warranty. what kind of battery is it? Does it say __Month on top?

Usually once you fully decharge a battery, it's pretty much gone. Might give you spurts of power here and there but in terms of longevity, it's done. Also make sure your alternator works fine, otherwise your battery won't get charged. What's the battery voltage with the car on? Should be around 13.8-14.4V if I remember correctly.

a lot of that depends on the age of the battery and if it has been cycled like that before. Get it tested before you go out and spend a good chunk of change.

Cold weather doesnt help either..
