2013 TL SH-AWD P0301 code
As I was pulling up to work yesterday I felt a slight shudder of the engine while reversing into a spot. I turned the car off waited a few minutes and then re started the car. It had a very hard time starting. I then left work at the end of the day and about 20 miles into my trip the car shuddered again and the check engine light began to flash. It pretty much powered down and wouldn’t let me go above 40 mph. After I pulled over and out it in park it gave me the following codes...
Check engine-P0301
Awd-77
check emissions
check vsa
check oil level
the car is currently at an Acura dealership and after an hour or trying to diagnose the problem they have called and said they are going into the second hour. The coil packs and spark plugs for cylinders 1-4 are fine and they are saying it may be far more serious than just a coil pack or misfire. Any help here would be great guys. Thanks so much
Mileage on car is 72,450

Follow up: apparently 2 fuel injectors went bad and that’s what caused the misfire. Fortunately everything is covered under warranty. Thanks for the help though guys I really do appreciate it.
Also had a quick question for anyone still here. I am opting to have a software update along with the 3 time drain and fill transmission service to try and help with my torque converter issue. I have a bit of tach haunting and hopefully this helps the issue. Any input on that would help as well if anyone has had the same issue.

Okay so a follow up for you guys that commented.
After replacing the injectors that were bad, they then called me a day later to inform me that a coil pack and a spark plug were also bad and needed replacing. I just opted to replace all the spark plugs and went ahead with the repairs. Was scheduled to pick my car up today and received a call that my car was misfiring on cold start up and I would not be picking up my car today. They then called a second time today to inform me that it was in fact bad gas that is causing all these issues and they are not even sure that it’s water in the fuel. They said they really don’t know what it is and the inside of my fuel tank looks like a lava lamp. I now have to pay for them to pump it out and dry the tank out using some powder and will not be receiving the car back for a couple more days. Anything else I should be worried about here because at this point I’m not sure what to expect next? Thanks again guys any input would be great.
