Guys, yes it was official 3M clear bra. I was there when he opened the factory sealed 3M box and took out the brand new 3M roll. I will be posting pictures soon. Also he put the 3M warrantee card on the door jamb of the car with all the info. I dont have pictures of that but its there.

Ok I finished resizing the pictures and deleting a few to be able to upload these. Multi-Tasking is my middle name. Here they are.

Pics look great man... I'm still at a loss for what the product is the installer actually used...
3M Scotchgard is what I assume you were looking for see the rolls sizes in the attached link...

3M also has the VentureSheild product that comes in bigger sizes...

Regardless it looks good and will likely hold up for the entire life of your lease.

What does this film protect the car from or is it simply an aesthetic thing? Would it start to peel off during the intense northeast weather?
Looks good nonetheless, but please change those rims! hahahaha

Yo Redhot - I think that it must be available to installers only. Like through their chanels.
Yo Diddy - The film is made to protect your paint from small rocks and the like. I ordered new rims already. They are the 18" stock SH-AWD ones in silver. I have 18" snow tires from Vredestien so I need 18" wheels.

It's the 48in roll. Just talked to Glen. It will fit the hood but has to be cut by hand.

Looks like a good install, I wish i had gotten the whole hood done, I now have rock chips above the 1/3 of the hood that is covered. I think you are definitely going to appreciate not having the front of your car chipped up from road debris

Yo Black - I got the silver ones on Ebay because no one here has them. Not even the stupid Acura Parts department can get them. They say that its a part number change. Its more than that, its a color change as well.
Yo Sytlshawd- Those parts that you mentioned have been fully covered. I do want to cover the rear bumper as well since some people here in NY can't park for shit.

For a second I thought you were talking about matte black, and I was like this could be interesting, but the clear 3m was a smart move, I regret not doing that on mine, especially, when you do a lot of highway miles and 18 wheelers are spilling debris everywhere!!
Im thinking of using SolarGard for all 4 doors. I dont like finger nail scratches inside the handles. Also thinking of doing the side skirt by the door sills. I always get scruff marks from my shoe.
