3g (everyone has it modded) > 4g (no one has it modded).

Just sayin'. The 4g is more exciting for me right now. Because i NEVER see one modded on the street. That's why I like coming on here

^^^I'll give it to AndyC, Petes, Fyah and Blackura and Nexson for doing something new and exciting with the 4G, no doubt.

AWD 6 Speed...if cost effective, I'd give it a whirl and make it look nice for sure. The 3G is still pretty gorgeous though...and I got title in hand as of yesterday which was my favorite mod to it to date

10.5 is pretty serious up front. Notice any difference in handling? Driving? Any issues turning the wheel?

I'd be on Vossens already if they made a concave wheel in the 9in width but I'm bit hesitant going 10.5 up front. I'd much rather prefer going no bigger then 9in up front.

Kudos to you...and overall, it shouldn't make a gdamm difference whether or not you're a girl or you're not a girl...it's human nature to be a little more protective of a girl, or flirty...but it really shouldn't. A car enthusiast is a car enthusiast...it ain't the 50's anymore. Congrats on the car. We are looking for a '10-'12 6speed as well. Actually, this may be the one that we were looking at! Haha. But we are waiting until October to make the purchase. We will cross our fingers that we find one as beautiful as yours!
Hey girl, i remember you hold out till you find an awd 6spd w/tech pkg. Its an amazing car and you will not be disappointed.

Honestly I have noticed no difference at all. Im not rubbing at all in the front even when i turn and my teins are as low as they go. I do have my front fenders rolled and I am very careful not to hit a large bump while turning. You can run a 10.5 no problem

Sorry if I missed it, but how much does a 6 speed AWD go for these days? Used, I mean.

Oh trust me girl, we are holding out for it. In fact, he won't settle for anything but than a white sh-awd 6spd with tech. Haha.

I think the cheapest he found so far was like $28,000. He doesn't want one with more than ~40,000 miles. I just hope there's one in October when we are ready to buy.

Then we with both have white Acura 6spds. Haha. The littlest things excite me.

Wow, that's crazy! I still can't bring myself to order a 10.5 wheel for the front! Really wish Vossen would just do a 9in concaved wheel!

I normally don't like that style, but they would look good on your car. Not necessarily better than the Vossens though.

Ill make a long story short and catch everyone up quickly.

In October of 2011 I bought the 4g with about 20k on it, it was kind of an accident but that is beside the point lol. I have one of the rare WDP/taupe awd 6spd's and I am in love with her.
I'm sure most of you remember my 04 AM TL....she was sold last week Up until that point I did own both cars. I didn't sell the 3g immediately because it took me awhile to actually convince myself to let her go. I also needed to develop the same emotional attachment with my 4g that I had with my 3g (yes i am aware i have issues).

I'll admit I wasn't fully in love with this car until I started to mod it. IMO Acura failed on the design of the front of the car and also failed on the choice of stock tires. The awd 6spd is an amazing vehicle and paired with my aggressive driving habits I feel very unsafe on the stock tires. I am currently in the process of addressing both issues, the tires and the grille.

Mods so far are as follows:
Takeda SRI
P2R TB spacer
rv6 long tube j-pipe
rv6 high flow PCD's
Tein SS
Ingalls Rear Camber Kit
Hoen 3000k fogs
V-LED switchbacks & resistors
Black housed headlights
Rear trunk trim piece is painted gunmetal
All stock bulbs were replaced with LED's
The window tint and the a-spec kit were already on the car when I purchased it.

I just purchased the EDFC system and I'm ordering some wheels this week
I also switched over to the GM Synchromesh fluid and it made a HUGE difference.

The front grille is a work in progress as you can see in some of the pics. I have plasti-dipped the middle part of it black and a good friend of mine JMillerUA6, is currently colormatching the outside part of it for me. Ill post pics when its done and Ill post some wheel updates soon as well.

PICS!!

First I must say goodbye to my 3g. I love her so much it was hard to let her go but I'm confident her new owner will take good care of her

Here's a pic from coilover install day!

A few randoms...

This is my 4g with JMillerUA6's 3g

thank you i am taking good care of her

It was really hard to let my 3G go. I actually posted it for sale then showed it to one person who wanted to make me payments (like im a damn bank ) then i took it off craigslist immediately.

When Nate contacted me and I met up with him we chatted for a bit and I knew he was a car guy. Him and his wife are amazing people and I know the car will be taken care of. if I didnt find someone like him the 3G would still be in my driveway lol she was my princess.
