Since I didn't have any of the other engine bay trim in the car i decided to remove the cone thing that sits above the intake inlet hose. It honestly seems to do really well since i'm only getting around 35 degrees over ambient temps under load for my iat. It also cleans up the engine bay a bit. Something anyone else has done? Should I just put it back on and maybe get a bit better airflow? Thanks

 

Yeah, don't do this lol. Even with just the cone in and no other engine bay trim you get way cooler temps and it takes way longer for the engine to warm up sitting in traffic.
