..thats your Intake Resonator which basically muffles the sound of your intake. I'm not sure about a SRI but for a CAI, you'll definitely need to remove the resonator.

You definitely won't get a check engine light, but i would just remove it anyway. Give yourself a little more room.

if you're going to be removing your airbox you might as well take out the resonator and install a CAI. i wouldn't waste my time on a SRI b/c you're just sucking in your hot engine heat to your engine.

Yeah, when you pull off the front bumper, you'll see the whole assembly in front of the driver's side wheel. I'd pull the whole thing out.

The little mini radiator thing you're talking about is different than the resonator. You're talking about the thing that is on the bottom of the stock air filter, right? Has two hoses going to it?? That is different than the resonator that everyone else is thinking about. You'll need to remove those hoses and antifreeze starts coming out and just take off one of the hoses and hook up the other hose where that one came from (this will make more sense when you're actually doing it).

Yes were positive. That was simply to heat teh air in the intake. You wont get any CEL. Members have been doing it for years now
