Angry installed atlp j pipe

ok so i just installed the atlp j pipe and test pipe. jesus anything else you guys remove to make it sound any louder, still sounds stock not even a change at all. also installing it i had to bend some type of bracket that i think holds and 02 wire in place as well as some other wires from maybe the harness right by the pan. anyone else have to do this?

j-pipe doesn't make the car louder... Get an straight pipe if u want loud.

I Didn't have to bend anything just slap it on and go hit vtec after.

what made you think it will get louder? installing headers on a b-series makes no sound difference si jpipe shouldnt either..

Gotta get an exhaust if you want sound. J pipe frees up some mid-top range power. Currently running XLR8 v2 j pipe with ATLP exhaust. Sounds beast.

^ As Carbon said, most people get the J-Pipe for power, and an exhaust for sound.

i didnt realize how many mufflers and resonators are on the car. just a test pipe on my 300gt made it louder but then again there was really only 1 muffler on it. never got under the car untill i actually installed the j pipe

also anyone have a j pipe on a a/t? there was clearance issues on the left side of the pipe right by the oil pan. some metal piece that looked like it held the 02 sensor up from dangling as well as some wires on the harness. i had to bend the metal up in order for the j pipe to go on
