Excelerate Performance: Poll For Ktuner/J-Pipe Package Deal

We've been thinking about combining two of our best selling upgrades for the 4G TL into one comprehensive package. This would help our customers save money while getting a big bump in performance. The package would include the brand new Ktuner end-user kit, and our XLR8 V2 J-Pipe. This package would be available for both the FWD and AWD models.

We're looking for feedback from the Acurazine community to see if this is a package we should pursue. We would be able to offer both of these for $999 shipped to the continental 48 U.S., with the exception of Connecticut which requires sales tax. That translates to savings of over $100!

If you have any thoughts or comments please let us know. You can also PM me or send us an email to Sales@ExceleratePerformance.com with any feedback.

Is there any dyno numbers yet to show? Baseline and then with Jpipe and tune?

I contacted Ktuner to see if they had any dyno numbers for us. Unfortunately, since the numbers were not run at their facility they did not have them available. They told us we have to wait for them to be posted.

any chance to add an exhaust/intake for a larger discount on multiple items? eg. intake or j-pipe back exhaust.

I think it's a great deal if people have the funds to buy as a complete package. My guess is only a handful of people are gonna wanna run the Ktuner compared to how many would purchase the J pipe alone.

+1 although I already purchased a jpipe and catback combo. That combo would be a sweet deal if possible though. I know heeltoe does custom pricing for such combos; which was who I went thru. Excelerate could do the same but I'd have to call them. I just did it online with heeltoe.

We could definitely put together an exhaust package deal with our XLR8 catback and V2 J-Pipe. I could put a package deal together of $1,649 shipped to the continental 48 U.S. Is this something people would be interested in?

I'd like to get some feedback and make some package deals based on what peoples needs are.

Why is it that your AWD Jpipes only have a 2.75" collector?

I pointed this out as well, apparently the collector is not really where the power is made and the collector size is not quite as important as the other bits.

Still seems weird to me, either way thanks for the info. I have a good idea what I'll be buying now.

MuffinMan is correct. If you just do a high flow third cat or test pipe, you won't see nearly as good gains as with a full J-Pipe. The actual piping of the J-Pipe is a larger diameter and has smoother transitions in the U bend to maximize air flow which really helps with power gains.

So from the general consensus I can safely say we will not do a Ktuner/J-Pipe combo, but more likely do a J-Pipe/Exhaust sale combo
