Sirius/XM Traffic Issues

Just wondering if anyone else has been having XM traffic problems for the past couple of months or more. Our normal commute has been affected and where we use to get traffic, its now gone. I have been in contact with Sirius support people for over a month but still no fix or reason for the problem.
I'll attach pics of what I sent them to explain.

I can't really help you, but I had similar issues regarding 78 in NJ. My problems were mostly that traffic wasn't available for a majority of the area. My wife's Grand Cherokee has sirius based traffic which covers almost anywhere we've ever had to go. The XM traffic is horrendous in comparison. They are both the same company, why not just broadcast the same info. It's really annoying.

No, nothing has been fixed. Late last year when the dealer replaced my XM antenna, to see if that was the problem (it wasn"t) we (the service guy who was trying to help me figure this out) sat in one of their newer loaner cars to check the traffic on that one. The screen blew me away...until we realized that we were looking at Acuralink and not XM traffic! I usually trade in my cars every 4 years but a seriously considering picking up a 2015 TLX now!
I don't think XM puts too much resource into their traffic feature. I have been complaining for 4-5 months now with no change. I have been calling and emailing through two different people now. I would never get a car that used XM traffic in the future, and would not be surprised if they dropped that feature, since it is so poor. The Acuralink had traffic on just about all roads - really put XM to shame.

Thanks. Already Tried them and they were useless. Acura suggested replacing the unit but not ready to drop that kind of money on 2010 with over 100,000 miles.

I've been seeing a similar problem since December. Do you ever get traffic on those roads?

I live on the border of VA and MD. All the Maryland highways seem be fine. The Virginia highways that used to work perfectly now take FOREVER to fill in traffic info. Sometimes my 35 commute will be over before the traffic is displayed.

This sounds like a problem with the 3rd party data XM is receiving. I've called customer support about 10 times but all they want to do is send a reset signal to my radio. Extremely frustrating.

Wow, I subscribe, but have never seen the traffic indicators, just thought it would prompt if there was a traffic issue along my route.

Well, my problems are now over. I've traded in my 2013 for a 2015 Tech with ALink instead of XM traffic. ALL roads are now traffic enabled!
