As you know NavTool Last Year Released a Video Interface for new Acura HDD Based Navigation Systems

This Year we are ready to present:

iPhone new lightning connector Video Interface

New Interface Supports iPhone New Lightning connector and all Android Devices with HDMI or MHL

 

Please make it so all we have to do is swap out the box not a new wiring harness.

 

Just got my TL about a week ago and I have been wanting this, keep us updated

 

didn't buy the last tool because I had upgraded to an Iphone 5....so I'm definitely interested

 

So what do current Navtool owners need to do? I've already taken the dash apart twice - once to install, and then again to replace the harness.

I really hope I don't need to take the whole thing apart again!

i did find a cable that goes from component to HDMI so you could use existing unit with the apple dongle for new connector.

 

I do now own or use apple products.

I am definitely interested as all my devices run the Android OS.

I've tried to inquire on this board and also via PM to Navtool to see if the iPhone 5 device will use the same brain and I just need to switch out a cable or if it's going to be something completely different. I'm ready to buy the unit now, use an old iPhone 4s I have to use all the functions for now, then maybe just buy the new iPhone 5 cable once it becomes available. I'd be ok with tearing apart the dash again as long as I'm just buying a new cable, not a completely different unit. Wish at least I could get this info so I could possibly make a purchase.

hoping for an HDMI connector as well...get with the 21st century, and ditch the component, bulky, RCA plugs.....We can then get an adapter from apple, and Voila! We can even screen mirror an IPAD or Iphone....now that would be worth the money!!

You can't use the apple 30 pin to lightning it doesn't support video, but if you get a HDMI to component cable on amazon for example then you can use the apple lightning to hdmi which supports video

 

So whats the deal with this product? Is it ever coming out or are they waiting until the TLX comes out and I buy that car and have to wait another 3 years for one to come out for the TLX?
