Was looking to get my database info for my head unit but the info just displays a "-", does anyone know how to get this info another way? The dealer would love to charge me their diagnostic fee to find it but I don't want to spend $150 for a number lol

After entering your year and model, see the Product Information section.

After step 2, you need to move the interface dial to the right to display the Other tab.

 

That's exactly the steps I followed, unfortunately on my display the database version is blank

 

I've had to enter the software version every time I've ordered the update.
It will not accept my database version number event though that's was it asks for.

Worked like a charm with this advice! Everything is now updated with the 2020 maps

 

Normally at the end of the year, they offer a discount of $49.99 or $99.99. Did they not do it this year or did I miss the boat?

 

The last few years the updates didn't go on sale until about May or June; for $99

 

I just was checking out the update DVD in Canada and I noticed a 'NOTE':

how exaclty is this update done? is it a DVD, or does it DL ?
