The instructions explain that by tapping the phone key on the steering wheel and say "transfer" that you can direct the call from the phone to hands free and vice versa. However that does not work and an error message pops up that says can't... This worked on my 08 TL. Does anyone have an idea if this has changed with the current model? Thank you.

 

After reading your post, I went out to the garage to try it on my 2011 TL. Like yourself, it did not work. A message appeared in the screen that stated voice recognition was not available during a phone call. I could however transfer the call using the dash dial.
