Pretty sure my driver's side door speaker is blown. Now, would it be worth it to replace ALL the speakers with aftermarket ones? Would the stock unit supply enough power to power aftermarket speakers sufficiently?
I'm guessing that aftermarket speakers would be an upgrade no matter what and would improve the sound.

 

if your car is still under warranty you should be able to get it replaced. i know i had my door speaker replaced before. if you really want to get aftermarket ones you may want to dig up an old thread where another member installed aftermarket speakers in his doors.

 

Get some infinity door speakers, 100x better than the panasonic speakers in the ELS system.

Ive got the 6032cf, reasonably priced. Theyre really bright at first but you have to wear them in.

 

Getting mine replaced under warranty on Monday. Thanks to the people here that tipped me off to being able to get it for FREE. I will replace them at some point, but for now free is beautiful!

 

Do you have your door speakers running on an aftermarket amp Gibby or the stock one? I was looking at a set of Focals but don't know much about them besides what I've read on here
