2012 Tech Package - blue indicator light?
Hey guys, I've had my Acura since 2012 and have a question. I just rolled over 60K miles and have been using an iPhone X. Recently I tried to use Bluetooth to connect music and a traffic app. The Bluetooth cuts out and doesn't restore while driving. Not sure what the problem could be. I rebooted the phone after parking and it reconnected, but rebooting is a hassle.
All that said, I noticed a blue oval indicator light was on between the sunroof and garage door buttons above. I looked in the manual and couldn't find details. I asked the guy at the dealership service bay and he said he could arrange for a Tech to do a diagnostic for $140 - No thanks. I'd feel stupid if it was just detecting that Bluetooth was active or detected. Since I had a problem with losing the connection while driving, I wondered if it meant I needed to update something.
Anyone else had an experience of BT dropping? Is there an easier way to reset it?
Thanks, Jeff

The Dealer Service Rep should have known what it was and told you at no charge. He is either incompetent or a scammer. I would inform the dealerships GM.
