Stream music from iPad to 2010 TL Tech?
Hey all-
Might be a simple fix but I was wanting to stream music via bluetooth from my iPad to my TL. I know how to set up my iPhones on the bluetooth however dont know how to set up the iPad (if I can). Can anyone offer the steps to doing so?
I just envision tailgating, camping, etc and controlling all of my music (coming from the Acura) from the iPad. Tech geek!

I have done this no problem on my TL.
Just turn the bluetooth on on the iPad. Then make sure the phone that you've normally paired with the car is turned off and then press the aux button on the TL and it will probably ask you to input the 4 digit code. Then you're good to go!
For this reason, I wish they would've made the iPad able to do phone calls, because it would be very convenient while in bluetooth mode in a car. Oh well. The car can't really charge the iPad from it's USB port because the iPad is using more power than the car is supplying while using the iPad.

Thanks! That actually kinda segways me into another question I had. If the wife and I both have iPhones, but shes the primary driver of the TL, should I just not bother syncing my phone with it to avoid problems?

if you have different fobs - it remembers your contacts and settings by phone/fob and can handle multiple phones. The iphone contact sync takes a while, but after that, the quick dialing is nice.
If you both carry iphones, I'd say leave the ipad at home.
The bluetooth is funky, and it's the iphone/ipad, not the car so much. Most of the time it works fine, but occasionally you'll have to go to settings and turn the bluetooth off/on on the i-device to get them to talk again. I use mine for Pandora mostly, and MOST of the time, when it syncs up - even the steering wheel skip button works - just not all the time.

There is always a delay of about 2 seconds when using iPhone over Bluetooth in my experience. It has never failed to work for me. I have a 2010 non-tech SH-AWD.
