Upgrading fog lights, switchbacks, and DRL's What brands are everyone using?

I want to upgrade my fog lights, switchbacks, and DRL's and been searching the forums for hours and found a few brands that have good reviews and some that dont.

From what I found the best choice for fog lights would be the Morimoto 3Five XB 6000k?
http://www.theretrofitsource.com/hid...l#.U-J9zvldXHQ

Switchbacks would be Bi-Color 27-SMD-5050 1157 from iJDMtoy?
http://store.ijdmtoy.com/1157-BAY15d...8.htm?CartID=1

But cant find which DRL's to go with. Any suggestions?

i'm going to do my light soon too... not sure i'll change my fogs.. i recall reading that was more of a PITA to change?

i am interested in doing the switchbacks and DRLs... anyone have up to date advice, pricing, links where to buy? I want my switchbacks color to be as close as possible to my headlights.

thanks.

a lot of people don't switch the drl's because it then makes your high beams more useless than they already are.

If you just want to get rid of that color of the drl's, you could just unplug the fuse. its in the drivers fuse box by your feet and pretty sure its the middle fuse at the bottom.

As far as the swichbacks, I used those from JDM and had no issues, just get the resistors.

For the HID kit, I used theretrofitsource.com and got the H11: MORIMOTO ELITE HID SYSTEM. Ballast: AMP: Morimoto 3Five DSP. Bulb: H11: 3Five 6000K. and the HD relay (get the relay!)

Most I read say morimoto brand was a solid bet.

I also changed my low beam HID bulbs as the stock ones didn't match the clear whiteness of the switchbacks. I bought these D2S: MORIMOTO XB35 also from theretrofitsource. They're good people, you can call or chat with them and give them crazy questions.

As far as others, quick searches would have gave you this

My car is a 2012 and I know they changed some bulbs in some years.

Correction, I didn't use those switchbacks, I used these

everything from iJDM...i've heard lots of people complaining of issues with their products, but so far no issues on my end...

LED DRL, LED switchbacks, LED Rear turning signals, LED license plate, LED reverse lights

btw...can anyone recommend some LED replacements for our HIDs?

I have led DRLs and have use of the high beam function as well, I forget the exact name of the brand, but I have a thread started with a link for them.

I never said you couldn't USE the high beam, I've just read that shining a flash light out your window would be brighter

I don't see anywhere in my post, that said you said that. But for the flashlight part you are 100% absolutely incorrect. The led DRLs I have are brighter and pretty much just as bright as HIDs but as a high beam function.

I'm pretty sure you're the only one who has that high quality of DRLs, everyone else with aftermarker DRLs has lost the highbeam capability. You could be helpful and post a link to your thread for OP, or the link to your specific brand, or stop jumping to conclusions here.

I didn't jump to any conclusions, just going off of what was actually posted on this thread, I will post a link to my thread though with the DRLs. There is a video on there as well showing the high beams functioning properly.
