Talking Unique Style Racing (USR) Interest on 4G Acura TL Clear Headlight Diffuser

Per forum member's suggestion to try to have an independent thread regarding the 4G TL Clear Corner Diffuser for the headlight. This thread is continuing what has been discussed in our other thread to gather the interest list. Assuming the price is fair, please put your name down if you are interested, thanks.

Is this thread in reference to the Depo housings with clear corners on your site? If so, I wonder about the quality of the projectors versus OEM Acura. Those OEM ones are extremely nice Stanley units known for a wide output. I simply wonder what projector Depo went with.

Ohio this is only for the clear diffuser to replace the oem Amber diffuser. Not the Depo headlights.

The 3G clear diffusers are $120, so take that as a rough estimate.

Removed my name. After opening my headlights twice in a month, and putting in tinted amber reflectors...I'm happy with the look and have no interest in opening them again.

Haha, those are the clearest diffusers I've ever seen!

The nice thing about the clear diffuser is you no longer have an exposed bulb. There's also a gap in the bottom (or back, can't recall) of that section that's filled when you have the plastic in there.

It's just a much cleaner look IMO, which is why I decided to add back the amber piece but blacked out. I'm surprised more people don't do that...especially with CBP.

I blacked mine out first. To me it looked great. Mine started cracking though right around where the light was. I'm guessing it was due to the nightshades? Either way I purchased another set of headlights that came with the clear diffuser.

Oh wow, that's interesting. I'll have to keep an eye on that. Did you have halogen side markers or LED? I'm wondering if you had halogens and the heat caused it.

I actually thought you were just messing around and didn't have any diffusers in your pic. It's hard to tell from a distance (and in a pic).

Does anyone know if it's difficult to install. I found the clear diffusers on endlessrpm.com. I'm willing to pay $90 but I was told it's not worth all the work you have to put into it to install.

You have to pull apart your headlights. It's not rocket science but it takes balls of steel your first time doing it because you have to bake them in the oven to soften the "glue" before you can pull them apart. You also have to take caution to re-seal them properly and eliminate any moisture inside to prevent condensation in the future.

If you're going to do it, you should include any other headlight mods you're interested in as well (TSX-R lenses, painted bezels, etc.).
