Looking good! i haven't been here in a while, taking care of a 3 and 1 year old can do that to your hobbies! Looks like i have a new mod for my car..... how the heck is everyone?

I agree. The fact that the TL is not available in the JDM market means your usual tuning shops aren't chomping at the bit to come out with aftermarket support. You can't find anything for this car from Greddy, HKS, Amuse, Mugen, ..etc..etc.
So far anything worth while that's not generic or for universal fitments are from the sponsors on this site.

Spoke to Ron yesterday and he is really sorry about what's going on with the kit production. I'm willing to give this some more time and hopefully we can get this done soon. I just wanted to have it for the summer and kill the streets.

Spoke to one of the workers yesterday on his cell, he told me the molds have been completely done, they are ready to produce kits which is good I guess. Only thing is that the front sagging in the middle had to be fixed by installing a mounting point that requires a single drilled hole in the middle. There is not enough of a ledge for the front to sit on with the vents being so shallow.
Now we just have to get the kit mold out of the old warehouse and into a new factory who can actually execute production properly. Working on that right now.

I'm actually glad that there has been a hard mounting point added to the front. It gives me more confidence in the fit and finish of the kit. I have no issues drilling a hole to support the lip.

Ron, do you sell the front splitter separate? for exmple, if someone buys the kit without the front splitter and later one wants to add it on, can the person purchase the splitter?

Ron:
You do excellent work on your designs and build. Can't wait for your new factory to start turning out this kit.
On a tangent, is the production of the RJ grill for the 4G TL affected by this? Please advise.

Ok, we found a new factory, but now I have to fly out there and get the molds transferred and setup witht he new factory. Hope this works. Only change was there was a bit of sagging on the front lip, so we have to put a mounting point in the middle of the front that will require a small hole.
On a sidenote. I am getting away from the bodykit manufacturing, it has taken it toll on me, way too much stress trying to maintain quality control , working with unqualified shops who incorrectly blame their poor installation on the kit's quality and dealing with damn CA business who are wayyyy too laid back. (no offense to my CA peoples who don't take quality for granted).
This kit will be produced in a limited run of 50 kits and that is all. We will pull the molds and destroy them after that. Same goes for the grilles and any other products we provide if they can be built in the new factory, if not, then they are done as of now with the exception of those 5 remaining grilles we are waiting for.

Rondy,
Sorry to hear about the change in direction. One would think that companies would work their asses off to get business these days.
I am sad to hear that the kits are not going to be made after this run, I was hoping for a rear kit for my '12!

No chance for 12 model getting any variants, and thanks to the M*****Fers in Cali. This is the EXACT reason most companies outsource, besides the price of the goods, the service from overseas is 100x better than the US, US suppliers take business for granted and act like you owe them something. Overseas suppliers appreciate business and don't take it fro granted. At least in my working with over 15 different suppliers over a period of 8 years, half being overseas, half being domestic. Sorry for the rant.

Mostly immigrant workers, but the factory foreman is the problem and he's a citizen, but you are right, 80% of workers in CA are not legally here. Still, it is domestic production any way you slice it. The funds to run the show are sent to an American bank account.

Ron you design a great product maybe you should consider working with people here on the east coast. Im sure they are qualified people that can do the job here in the east. And if there any issues you don't have to travel so far to get your molds or settle any disputes, so the question is more or less when can I have my kit or an ETA.
