Working with what Acura put out there, but really this is the third time you knocked the kit. We get the idea now. I'm pretty damn proud of this kit design to tell you the truth. While I surely appreciate your feedback, seems like you are bent on dissing it.

I kind of sensed that too It s a forum and you know people are going to take any chance they can to express their opinions. With that being said, I think the kit looks great! Props and best of luck getting it out there

If you don't like something, vote with your wallet by not purchasing it. We should be happy that we have someone willing to take the financial risk to develop aftermarket solutions for our cars.
It's not like there are tons of people willing to do that....

Ron,
That kit looks so bad-ass. I haven't been keeping up with the 4G TL progressions but I saw the RJ banner at the top-right of the site and I said God DAMN. But one question....
Is this only '09-'11 TL application? If so, that would be a damn shame.

Don't let the haters get to you. You did a great job with the kit. I've been showing the latest pictures to all of my Honda/Acura enthusiast friends and everybody thinks it looks sick. If I owned a 4th gen you would already have my money and I'd be greatly anticipating the arrival of my new RJ lip kit. I think you should be proud of the great work you did here Ron!

If you look at the members who like the kit oppose to those who don't like it, it's like 200 who like it to 1 who don't. Your doing a great job Ron, I just can't wait to show my TL with the kit in the boogie down.

Thanks guys, like I said, I don't mind someone's opinion at all, even if it opposes the majority, just something about 3 posts in a row that makes me wonder. Whenever I give my opinion against the norm on something, or "constructive criticism" I like to elaborate on the "constructive" part and explain my reasoning, maybe offer a solution or something. After all, these forums are so valuable with the exchange of ideas, not just a way to vent ruffle people's feathers for your own satisfaction.
Anyway,. back on the topic...
We are still hard at work, the front lip was sagging a bit, so we had to engineer small ledges for the two primary openings in the front, so the kit can rest on something, even though there is not much to rest on with the fogs and plastic piece already flush in the vents. Also, a little more smoothing of some broad flat areas to get the paint to rflect smooth as glass. Lastly, the rear was very difficult to get to stay on without drilling holes. We may have to drill two small holes to use screws that will mount into the lip through the bumper. If you don't want to drill, you can always use silicone adhesive underneath with support during the curing time.
So these revisions are being worked on in addition to the front ABS plastic splitter preorders, scheduled to be done by the 4th. Production will begin on the 7th, and we will wrap up production and begin to ship orders out on the 17th. I am beginning to contact everybody who placed this week. Just waiting to see if any delays make themselves shown.

I occasionally rub the bottom plastic as well but only when I forget it's there and a harg incline/decline is ahead; I'm sure with how nice the RJ front lip is those who own it will be extra careful.

I'm will be holding my breath when I install this kit. I scrape my car contantly in my neighrbohood. Either on entrance or exit ramps on parking lots or on the street on pavements that are not even. I could see myself just driving even slower than I do now.

Great job with the kit. In love the front bumper... My question however is how the front bumper would look but retaining the OEM sides and rear? Not knocking the product you've put out there but my I like the factory sides and rear.. A little less aggressive for my tastes. Will you offer the front lip for purchase by itself at some point?
Input from anyone? Anyone wanna take the time and photoshop the Ronjon front lip with the factory sides and rear?
Tks..

Ron:
I was fortunate enough to get a '10 TL w/Tech (PM - Palladium Metallic) & 18" SH-AWD wheels for Father's Day.
How do I go about pre-ordering the 2009+ Acura TL aero kit (primed & prepped) and the 2009+ Acura TL Grille Housing in ABS Plastic, Prepped and primed Ready for Paint? Wtat would be the price for each?
Thanks Ron, your kit looks awesome. Is the color of the TL from the photo shoot Palladium Metallic. So my '10 TL will look like that but not lowered. That's sick, man.

Believe me that front lip looks sick! When slowing down and being much careful especially at freeway exits and railroad tracks...you will have to pay more attention to your rear view as well to make sure no one rear ends ya!

UPDATE...
Sad news, my lead guy in charge of the mold making has disappeared. AI have a few people looking for him since he has all the molds, etc. I really don't want to get into it, but all kits (3G Tl, 4G Tl, 2G CL, 8G Accord and 4G TL Grille) are all on hold until we can get our molds to a new factory capable of production. I will be refunding everybody next week if I cannot get this going. And we just purchased all the materials and finished 95% of the molds. We just had to adjust the front because it was sagging a bit on Ryan's car. I just had to have a 1/4 ledge built into the mold to have a bot of stress releif on the front.
I am sorry, but I never thought this would happen after 6+ years with this guy, and I am FURIOUS. I am turning away sales daily, and I am working as hard as possible on getting new factories lined up to take on the molds. Thanks for the patience, and everybody who preordered will be taken care of. If you own any of our bodyparts, take care of it, you might have a piece of RJ history...

Oh man, that's some bad news! I was looking forward to seeing more 4g kit photo shoots.
Sorry to hear about this man, good luck tracking the dude down. Hopefully he just turns up with a good excuse...
