Dealer ordered me replacement owners manuals (as for some reason mine were missing on purchase). Every Acura I've ever owned had a nice leather binder. These are just books.

My TL came with a leather binder for the three manuals and host of other cards. But the manual is also available as an electronic download that seems not to include the leather binder.

 

Is it leather (not home to check)? I thought it was pleather.

Strangely enough, when the cars arrive at the dealer, the books are in a plastic ziploc bag and the leather binder is in a separate plastic bag. It wouldn't surprise me that if they order the manuals it doesn't come with the leather binder but that doesn't mean you shouldn't get one.

BTW I think your is foolish for not giving you the manuals and leather binder from another car that is not sold yet. That way you leave with your new car and everything that came with it and they order replacements for a car that hasn't been sold yet. From a customer service side of things it's foolish to make you wait when they definitley have other manuals and binders on hand.
