OSRAM D2S 66240 XNB Night Breaker UNLIMITED Xenon

Hey guys has anyone used the new OSRAM D2S 66240 XNB Night Breaker UNLIMITED Xenon Lamps on 2012 TL SH-AWD yet? It seem like they are the newest on the market. Just wondering what people think about them? Here are some specs:

BRAND NEW & JUST IN FOR WINTER 2013! - Be one of the first to own these fantastic bulbs right here from Driven 2 Automotive, an official OSRAM distributor! OSRAM thought one step ahead and heard that call for an Xenon variant of their world successful NIGHT BREAKERŽ range, so here we are; Introducing up to 70% more light, up to 20% longer light beam and 5% whiter light than standard xenon lamps, this release from OSRAM will keep you safe on the road at all times and we highly recommend it." -

It's about to be 2014 in about a day so I'm not sure how "new" these bulbs are. TRS has had them since the beginning of this year. Product reviews seem good. It would depend on what color temp you're going for.

It seems like the the Nightbreaker is the new name for osram SVS, the specs seem to be the same. If thats the case then I love mine and have had mine for about a year now

SVS/Nightbreakers are not for people looking for a whitish output as the color is more close to the OEM Osrams i.e. 4200k. The light is brighter than OEM though as these are rated at 3500 lumens compared to the factory 3200 lumens.

When you read the reviews on TRS people describe them as SVS, so it looks like they just renamed the Silverstars. Those are definitely an upgrade in output but not any more white. If you want similar output but whiter go CBI. Both put out 3500 lumens but the lower kelvin rating makes the output more usable with this bulb.

hahah you will be surprised.. my clean mats are still in the trunk and when i need to clean my car, i just pull out the rubber mats and rinse them off, then back into the car. no dry time needed and keeps my car dust free unlike my stock mats that love to collect dust..

You mean blue? Anything 5k and over is blue and looks like some cheap drop in kit imo.

I've been considering it...but it's usually only me in my car so the mats stay pretty clean.

I was referring to "not for people looking for a whitish output". If they are close to oem @ 4200k, then they are more white than something 5k plus as they get more blue at that point.

Thanks guys for the input. I think I will try the new OSRAM D2S 66240XNB night breaker unlimited xenarc bulbs. It looks like they are newest version of the silver star. The original silver star specs is here. OSRAM SYLVANIA D2S 66240 SVS 66240SVS

It's weird that they don't list the kelvins on the Nightbreaker but I guess it's a slightly improved SVS. If it's 5% whiter than a 4200K bulb, is it a 4410K bulb?
