Memory settings question

This was probably answered somewhere, but I can't find it. When disconnecting, or replacing, the battery, are any memory settings (seat and mirror positions, sound system channels) lost?

Seat and mirror memory is lost, but radio presets, phone contacts, and navigation settings are still saved. Just make sure you have your 6-digit security code to reactivate the system.

Thanks. When I have to get a new battery I'll make sure the place uses the device that plugs into a power port to provide power to maintain memory settings. I don't want to lose the seat memory.

Edit: I just googled memory savers, and an article says that cars made within the last 15 years or so have power ports that are only active when the car is running, so the type that plugs into the OBDII connector is needed.

If you leave your set 'as set'. Just hit Set 1 again when you re-connect your battery. The 2nd seat setting will be lost via your second key though...
