Light jerk from 2nd gear to 3nd gear Acura TL 2009.
Hello friends, I have an Acura TL 2009 3.5 5 speed AT Please tell me if it's normal that I feel the shift from 2nd gear to 3rd gear (it's like a light jerk, no shaking, no knocks)? The mileage of the car is 149 thousand kilometers. Thank you.

Когда последний раз меняли масло в АКПП?
MOD EDIT: Translation: When was the last time you changed the oil in the automatic transmission?
Just curious, but why the foreign language translation? Did you think Oleh would not understand? @altair47

Approximately 10,000 (the oil was changed by the dealer before the sale) kilometers ago, I bought the car from the dealer, but the color of the oil is good and it does not smell burnt.

How strong are these jerk that you want to spend money on diagnostics? A used transmission like this costs $600-800, so I would drive it further, and if it gets bad, I would change it. Based on my experience in a personal car, for over 70k miles I sometimes have a jerk between first and second, I already bought a used transmission with low mileage, but I’m too lazy to replace it, that’s why I keep driving.

Also, when I switch to D, I feel the switch, is this normal?

For smoother shifting, you can try a more viscous transmission fluid. Regarding D, these transmissions do this all the time because they work inside like a manual, and the direction position changes with the help of a mechanical fork.

Thank you very much for the answer, it's just my first car with an automatic transmission, all my cars were with a manual transmission. That is, a smooth push when switching to D is normal?
