we lost one of the keys, need a replacement before we lose the last set. do you know how much does dealers charge for that? it's for a '09 TL. also, are there any alternative other than dealers to get this done?

 

get keys on ebay.. bring to dealer to program..

dealer can charge you arm and leg for keys.. but if you bring them your own key, just have them reprogram it. let them know your spare key stopped working.. dont tell them you lost it and this is a replacement.

 

^^^ thanks for the reply. an unprogrammed key cost about $80 on ebay, dealer charges $55 for programming. i'll say not bad. i'm still waiting on their quote for the entire package.

 

dont even bother to wait for dealer.. just get it.. you already know in that it will be more
