Key Fob Leather Case?
So my friend owns a Lexus IS and I found out that he had his key fob in one of these:

I'm not gonna lie, my key fob is so scratched up its not even funny and the key ring it came with broke =( I need something new..any idea where I can find a case like this or at least some sort of protector for the 4G TL? I tried googling to no results =(

Good by the looks of the pic that thing is screaming for a belt clip. I saw a guy the other day that had a zippo lighter with the belt clip attachment. It was kind of like the lochnest monster, you always hear about someone seeing it, but no one has ever really seen it. Well the zippo lighter with belt clip functionality does exist.

That's so retarded. I don't care how much you smoke (since I do myself), u don't need a belt clip for that.
But this fob key case thing is really irritating me. My key fob is so scratched up..damn things like $600 so I'd like to keep it in good condition..
I wonder if that Lexus key case for fit the TL's key fob...thing is $100 though..
I wonder if there's any substitutes I can use..

they are going to get scratched up if you attach it to another set of keys. That is just the way it is. Personally it is the only thing I keep in my pocket. My other keys stay in the car until I need them.

I'm the type of person to like to have all his keys with them. I have this paranoid feeling that I'm going to lose something even though I've never really lost anything before.
I think I'm going to ask my friend whose studying abroad in Japan to pick me up one. Apparently it's available at all the Lexus dealerships there and for like $85..mad expensive but I think it's worth not scratching my damn thing up anymore.
Problem is..my pockets are always full..lighter...cigarettes...home/apartment keys...cell phone lol.

They're not the prettiest -- but they do provide protection for the factory key fob.
Of course, it's up to you if that's worth $6 or not:

They are the retail online seller for remote totes.
The extra-large size fits best.
just make sure no moisture or water of any kind gets into that case... i had that happen to 2 different cell phones of mine... one cell phone was silver and it turned dark red/orange on me... the other put what looked to be a burn mark on the lcd of my other phone.
