its CBP, not NBP..

So, I was at the Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood, WA today and spotted this beautiful 09 TL with blacked out front grille, and from the looks of it, I am actually falling towards the new TL.. It doesn't look that bad with the painted grille. It also included 15-20% Tint... haha

Here are the pics. The car was listed at 45K with the modifications done. Oh, btw, i'm also feelin the rims too.

I apologize for the crappy pictures. They were taking via my blackberry curve

Nice....but way ovepriced for a TL Tech. For $45K, I rather have the SH-AWD version w/HPT (and that one still comes out to less than $44K). To me, adding $6K worth of mods to a FWD TL Tech doesn't make any sense.......but maybe it does to the dealer desperate to make a profit.

Agreed with Pete. I saw this same car for $45K with chromed out rims at Acura 101 West in Socal, and the kit just doesn't look right in the front and back, the side skirt is not too bad. Too much $$ for an average body kit and those rims. I'm curious how blacked out or chrome dipped rims like that would look?

One thing I really dig is the hood change, it's now very aerodynamic with refined points to reduce drag, very smart. The car also is much quieter than my old 2005 TL at 65mph with LA traffic.

Dude, ease up, he apologized for the camera phone pics already! You could send him a camera for the holidays to appease your selfish request. So while were nit picking, could you get any further from your car when you took that pic? (completely joking!)

Same thing I was thinking...especially in this market...W T F

And I'm not sure what it is about the all-black, painted grilles, and those wheels, but it looks a little Lincoln-esque to me ??

I saw that same car last week. It has a nice, clean, and commanding presence. In this market, I would pay only 45K OTD for the SH-AWD version with that OEM kit.

What is the real difference between CBP and NHB? I have a NHB TSX and it's got lots of dark blue metallic flecks. I wonder if the CBP is closer to a true black?

In this recessionary market, they should have adjusted the value downward not upward!

Tack on aero kit.
Crazy overhang on the front end.
De-Blinged grill and rear end.

I hate to say it, but no matter how much you polish a turd, it's still a turd. I went to see the new 4G this past week -- didn't drive, mind you -- based on the fact that everyone here said it's "much better in person".

It's not. Not by a mile.

I could write a full essay on all that Acura messed up, but after seeing them have the audacity -- in this market -- to charge a dealer created markup, I just about shot milk out my nose.

........those......wheels......are........SEX!!!! I could have gotten them for $800...some guy just purchased the new TL here in town....gave Acura a bitchfit, and turned the car back in....since the wheels were going to be put on the car the tard tech guy accidentally scratched one of the rims....and the manager asked me if i wanted them for $800....oh if I would have had the money......he said hopefully they will still have them in within a month and he might still give them to me for $800.

Just to add, in sunlight, the Black Pearl finish is deceiving, it looks like dust particles up really close. There is also a slight difference in the finishes at the bumpers, front and rear. Damn plastic!

the car looks great but its wayyy overpriced...u can get a fully loaded SH-AWD for that much...its probably because acura charges so much for non-base wheels....

also, the diff between NBP and CBP is that NBP has blue flakes in it whereas CBP has silver flakes in it...u cant really tell though unless the car is in sunlight and you're close to it
