I just picked up a pair of 8000K replacement bulbs for my 09 TL. Has anyone changed them yet? What needs to be done? Please help! Thanks.

You guys are crazy for wanting to changed out the low beams, I think the stock HIDs are amazing.

 

I actually wanted to change the daylight running lights to a white. Has any one done this??

 

This I'm interested in. Is there a way to turn DRL off (page 136 doesn't really explain how to turn it off)? Is the bulb actually the high beam bulb running at a lower power (60W (HB3))?

 

The DRL is the High Beam. I think it just gets reflected up during high beam mode.

Yes, should only take 5 minutes. You just need to pop a couple panels off and their easily accessible.

Why do you guys want to change out the DRL's?.......personally, I find those blue bulbs and HID imitations to look cheap and very fake....something you would see in a ricey Civic or Scion. To me, I wish Acura did something similar to the LED DRL's in the new A4's and A5's.....now that looks cool.
