I had a black TL, grey RSX, and now a white TSX. White is now my first choice. It is much easier to keep clean than other colors.

Shouldn't grey be the easier to maintain?

white is a breeze for the most part...the tan colored interiors that most people get when they get white cars will give you the most problems...

i drive a NBP TL, and i will NEVER EVER get another black car unless it's driven monthly, if that

Silver was the easiest to maintain.

I agree with evocative, there's no way white is easier to maintain than grey. I do agree however, black is a bitch to deal with since I drive one. Gotta get a carwash like once every 3 weeks....

I have the white now and thinking of washing it weekly. Why is washing the 4G so much more fun than my 2G? I'm secretly ecstatic about the lines of the 4G I think.

Had a white Integra, easy to keep clean.
Had a Anthracite (grey) 3GTL, easiest to keep clean.
Have a CBP 4G, now going crazy with keeping it clean, and my car is garaged?

Does that help at all?

garages help a lot esp in spring when there is so much pollen, but it will only help so much. Zanio up your car and it will make the car washes easier and longer in between.

Yup, whatever color you get...a good LSP will keep it much cleaner. Plus the splash guards help a ton.

my 04 NBP was great clean - but 2hrs later you could see dust on it even if it just sat in the garage. the city would water the trees in the median (and thus the street) and on the way to work in the am - my 3G NBP would get filthy - as low to the ground as it was. like backinblackTL said - lighter interior colors show dirt - I had the Parchment - showed everything. Iceman getting a car wash was every 3 weeks w/ black? - not where I live - the NBP would be lucky to go 1 week. Now my 4G BBP - I've said it b4 - is like a vacation - so far as the labor on keeping it clean. It might actually go 3 weeks.

I just bought the White Diamond Pearl last Thursday also. I agree to put a nice wax on it and it will help. Don't think that white is that hard to keep clean, but I tend to wash my car at least every other week.

My problem is that I let my wife make the decission on the int color, Parchment! Looks great, but I am almost paranoid about keeping it clean. Especially at the bottom of the door frame where I have to lift my feet over to get in and out of the car. That area gets smugded very easily.

So far it's been easier to keep the white clean that my previously black car. Black seems to be a salt magnet here in the Midwest. The white color is a little more forgiving.

Light colors appear cleaner than dark colors.

The advantage of White is that is is very difficult to see swirls - Black they stand out like a sore thumb.

Visit the Wash & Wax sub-forum: https://acurazine.com/forums/wash-wax-23/

Great info on maintianance and products. I'd recommend that you Clay, Wax and Protect your new car. Then upkeep on a regular basis via wash and Quick-Detailer/Spray Wax & a quarterly to semi-annual Clay/Polish/Wax routine.

Light interiors are not harder to keep clean IF you work them regularly. If you let 'em go or have lots of spills, etc, yes, they'll look like crap; but so will any car in those conditions.

I woudl say lighter colors in general are easier to maintain, but I find Silver is awesome, hides so much and it really can hide the dirt. White is good too, but I find since we all have a natural reference for white it can show dirt more easily.

Werd! I think I'm gonna try some Zaino on the next detail. There's a lot of positive feedback on it. Thanks.
