HIDs

Ok so I'm taking my Acura 2012 TL SH-AWD to Ziggy's auto specialist on Cape Cod just to get my front headlights bulb replaced and for 1 headlight bulb, there charging me $106.61 for 1 single hid bulb??? 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️like does this even sound correct because it seems waaaaay ro much to me, soo my total bills going to be close to $350 do to this ??? This does not sound rite to change a hid light bulb smh

An HID bulb is not the same as a run of the mill Halogen, they are much more expensive. $106 for the bulb and the labour seems par for the course if you are having a shop do it.

You can buy better bulbs at a lower price from multiple places; in some instances less than $100 for the pair. If one fails, the other will be failing shortly thereafter. The cost is really the labor to get to the bulb and to put it in properly. Requires removal of the front bumper or removing the wheels on the front and the liner to access them
