Fog light Mod is coming

I believe all acura, fog lights are wired the same. The fog switch connects ground when the headlights are on. Like I did with my TSX, I will take a piece of wire to confirm the this is true. All that needs to be done is connect a wire to any ground and connect the other end to the ground wire feeding the foglights. They should come on. All that is needed then, is a relay and a switch. I have a honda foglight switch that will custom fit the dash. I will be testing my theory soon.

No, I will need a service manual. I did do some testing and unlike my TSX the TL does not switch ground. It switches 12 volts to the fog lights. I need to find out where that 12 volts is coming from.

Oh ok, I was thinking of taking the steering column cover apart to see if I can see the wires, but a service manual might be a better option. It sucks that other cars can do it but we can't like my bro's 3 series can.

I am thinking all that needs to be done is to wire a ground wire into the input side of the fog switch. That is all the switch does is switch ground to a relay somewhere. Once the headlight are off the ground is removed from the switch so it does not work.
