custom folding the back seat down?

Im wondering if anyone has looked into folding the back seat down. I have a 2010 TL and go snowboarding, golfing, etc and often run out of trunk room. Im looking to convert the back seats to fold down either by getting accord brackets if they fit or somehow something custom in order to fold it down. Anyone ever try this or have and suggestions to get it done that wont cost me all my money? Thanks!

Roof rack... I just caved and bought one from another local user here.

The way that the seat mounts I don't think you'll be able to hinge it so it folds. It bolts along the bottom and then slots into four hooks up towards the top.

I will say I was pretty disappointed to find out our seats didn't fold.

Yea it sucks when the last car had folding seats 60/40 now this has none. Hopefully i can get it figured out soon as long as it doesn't cost me a fortune. If i find a way ill make sure to let everyone know how.

you cant custom. its built into the frame.. you will essentially be modifying the frame..

this is what a roofrack is for as others have mentioned.

Depending on length of snowboard, you can rest it on centre of car. It will cover the shifter a bit so drive carefully. You will need a roof rack.

Lol, why not? It's literally why they exist. You don't have to leave them installed and personally, I think it looks pretty good on the car.

it still fits in the back but it has to be on an angle from floor to roof so no need at the moment. if i start to carry anything bigger and do not have another vehicle to use i will prob look into it then.

Anything can be done depending on how much you want to spend. You can use the accord brackets, drill the necessary holes and also buy the accord latches and release. The issue will be the extra bracing the TL has in the rear so you won't have that much room to put stuff.
