Car cover

It seems to be a very popular brand so I doubt you'll have any problems with it. I've seen them go for $150ish, and some sites have it for cheaper than that...but are also sold out (just from a quick google search). Depending on shipping, the OEM may be worth paying for ($199 shipped; assuming you have 09-11). The OEM one says its "Complete with storage bag and security cable and lock..."

A friend bought a "California Car Cover" (<<brand) and it was very nice and perfectly fitted.

i'm a fan of covercraft NOAH covers. i had one for my TL for years (until she was deemed garage queen this year). worked great perfect fit. i ordered mine as a custom pattern to accomodate the roof rack that was on the car. awesome fit and did it's job. even protected the car from more damage after a tree branch nailed my car.
what are your specific needs for the cover? outdoor? water resistant? UV? sap? bird bombs? covercraft has a nice chart showing all the things you are looking for the cover to do and rated. the company has awesome customer service too.

potmilkz is correct. the key here is IF the car is NOT clean. i put a cover on my TL for years when it was my DD. i had minimal scratching from the cover all those years b/c i only put the cover on a CLEAN car. if it was going to rain i left it off. heavy snow...i left it off. any other time i would wash the car then put her to sleep under the blankie.

Those cloth covers are JUNK. They will break down over time and you will have lint all over your car, everytime you take it off. Get a natural waterproof cover. Go to Autoanything.com . I have bought MANY covers and always cover my cars. Get a California duster and NEVER put the cover on without dusting it. If the car gets dirty, do not cover until you wash it. Even being anal as I am about my cars, you will still get some fine scratches, but a detail can take care of that. I can tell you my 2009 TL looks just as I had bought it brand new out of the showroom. I even cover my cars when I drive to work. Thankfully I only live 3 miles from my job so my TREK takes care of that most of the time.

I have had a cover (Coverite Car Covers) I bought at Carlisle,PA. about 10 years ago and it still looks like new. Cover my Mustang with it in the garage. So it does depend on where the car will be stored/parked. Very reasonable price.
