New ride - transformation

Hello my fellow Acuraziners.

I got my 2012 Acura TL w/Tech package in CBP about a month ago for $33,500 plus tax and fees.

Here's my TL cefore pix:

Here is the transformation:

I'm waiting on the tires to wear out to get new tires and possibly lowering the car.

What do you think so far?

I didn't want the pirelli's to go to waste and so I'm waiting on getting new tires b4 getting coilovers. I need to do alittle research and comparison on coilovers for the 4G.

To be continued...

The rear wheels/tires are sticking way outside the fenders, and they are gonna rub like crazy.

You'll need some serious fender rolling/pulling, especially if the car is lowered.

Nah, I think he just needs to drop it and the camber will make it flush on where he wants it.

It's a work in process. Got a killer deal on the wheels (originally retail for $7K with tires several years back when the seller bought them). I think they retail for $4-5K now. They are Asanti AF 150 3 piece wheels with custom paint job. They are 20x8 and 20x10. I was thinking of swapping the outer barrels so they will 20x9 front and rear.

I need to search for how to exchange barrels of a 3 piece wheel.

$1400 with Perelli's NERO 255/30zr20 & 285/25zr20 (90% Tread). One of the rear wheels has some damage which I plan to get repaired. He had it listed for $3,000.

Damm that's a great deal I guess for high end wheels. Take some side shot to appreciate the car and wheels.....Oh! congratulations on your new whip. CBP is becoming very popular here. The only downside about the color, it gets dirty quickly.

yeah I like it alot.
Did you think about adding teh side skirts? I think it would make it look lower. You can leave the front and back off the kit if you want.

Congrats on the new ride-it really looks great. I like the paint job on the grill.

Hey, if you're wanting a drop, I bought H&R Sports Springs. I was happy with the ride and didn't want to pay the excessive amounts for coilovers. $245 for the H&R's as opposed to ~$1,000 for the coilovers.

Have to be careful about the camber setting. Dialed in too much, the tires will wear out (only on the inside) a lot faster than normal.

What do you guys think of the D2 Coilovers:

Or KSport:

Both comes with camber adjustable top mount whereas the Tein Super Street do not come with top mount.

A litle pricey though...Hmmm...What to do?

^^ The first link is too high. You can either go for teins ss or XLR8 coils

you need more lip-age on the front wheels, seems wayy to small vs the rear.

Of course but most people wanting to do stance look don't care about the wear.
