Check this link. Sounds like Acura really got this one right.

No wonder they delayed the release... the 6spd model has totally different suspension, bushings, mounts, driveshafts...

I just wish they would also put it back in the base models so people (whatever small % that may be) who don't want to spend the extra $$ can still get a MT if they want to.

maybe they fear the FWD traction and the 1 milion time mentioned understear...
I remember the concept TL Type-s in Los Angeles 2004, or 05??, the one in orange color and red inside... it felt very special. Why Acura dosn't think about a "M-BMW, S-Audi" version for this car?...

Bring back the 6MT option on base cars and a stand alone ELS system...

Why don't we make each car a custom order? Seriously, with the number of potential 6MT sales, I'm just happy they're making it at all. They are never going to make a version to please everybody and there are already five SKUs for the TL. Adding too many more is insane.

^^ A 6MT will please the enthusiast crowd and that is a crowd that always needs pleasing wrong wheel drive or not. The TL has always been a sporty family sedan with a MT option available in the last two generations. I say- continue the tradition.

I agree, I just don't see them adding it to a FWD car, only AWDs going forward. Not sure if when you said 'base' you meant FWD.

yep- I meant FWD. To be honest, I'm glad Acura is at least offering it on the AWD instead of just 86'ing entirely.
