Much better. Definitely flows better with the rest of the car. Now just get rid of those little stabalizer fins on the rear and it would look much cleaner and flow even better.
I think those would discolor and chip from road debris over time.

i vote for the lip that wraps around the front bumper.

for my front lip im using clay right now over the fiberglass to give it more details.

nice job !

Concept 2 all the way, the side skirt on concept 2 looks more full in design.

Concept 2, but I'm having mixed emotions about the fin on the skirt. I hope its not too big.

I also hope the lip kit doesnt stick too much making the OEM wheels look tucked too far in the wheel well. I dont know how to explain it.

I know exactly what you mean, if you put a flat piece of wood across the side of the fins, the wheel shouldn't be too far from the wood. But it will be more like an accent than a real feature. The angle will be highlighted by a crisp crease, to exaggerate while the actual proportions will be minor.

I agree with you. Although the fins on this picture are not as pronounced. Looks better than the first picture.

Holy cow, those look INCREDIBLE!!! You've been busy

I would buy either one if they are offered pre-painted.

Yeah, have been working on this non stop, this and the TSX splitter kit. So Concept 2 is the one, and we will be taking the next step, Now I'm debating ABS plastic or Poly-urethane, with the later the heavy favorite. prepainted option is available as it is with out other kits, but depending on your color, I would be able to suggest it or not.

I am very excited to make this kit, and I hope we can sell enough of them to consider it a hit!

Concept 2 without a doubt.

Will this kit work for both base and shawd?

We will be making Concept A first and taking pics, then turn it into concept b and see if it works better. This is something I have to see in person to make sure it looks the best. We have two lead guys ready to offer their car for the measuring session, I just have to get the bumpers from Acura and we start!

really liking concept 2, and i personally like the fins. this car would benefit from some more flair at the bottom for sure. it my fav part of the 3G aspec kit and this car would look great with a little more weight down low. cant wait to see what comes of this.

This is going to be the rear 2 piece lip to cover the hack job Acura makes you do to the bumper. Also, I think we will lay off the fins in the front and side /front. Only the rear and side / rear will have the fins. The front and side / front will flow into each other with a verrrry subtle flare at the bottom.

We'll play with the fin's proportion and all when we build the clay / foam prototype. but I assure you it will be tasteful.

Here's a front 3/4 view:

I like the fin, but what are you going to do to make sure it can withstand abuse (back seat entry and exit, road debris, etc.)

It's going to be made of polyurethane, so the structure will not suffer at all, we will also address the fin when we build the kit and smooth it here and there so it flows well and works without any issues.

Very nice, classy, and aggressive. I like the rear; from this angle, the kit seems to even out the rear bumper's bulbous "squat." Would you happen to have another angle of the rear by chance (ie. direct rear view)?

A "hint" of a fin on the front might help the flow from front to rear.

I know this is getting a little redundant, but I am trying to refine it to the point of certainty. I flared out the front just a bit, and kept the sill that flows from the sideskirt. I don't think there is any more we can do without going backwards:

Don't worry, there will be the same amount of room as stock.

Oh, btw, I'm pitching this project to Honda Tuning Magazine for them to possibly do a feature on the development of the kit lie they did on the TL kit for the 3rd Gen, buit to actually capture the process from start to production.:

Fingers crossed!!

How quickly do you think you can modify the kit? With the rumored changes to the 2012 TL, the front and rear facias may change a bit.

I know, but we'll wait to see what the OEM offers as a lip. If nots not too much, we'll just make a version for the modified bumper.

I doubt they offer anything like yours. It will probably be a modified version of their current kit.
