4G TL RonJon 6-piece Splitter kit ** updated design, pg. 3 **

Number 3 has my vote only because I'm partial to building up the bottom of the front end to match the proportions of the middle and top. It looks like a great concept!
IMO, #1 and #2 look too similar to each other

The Lip is nice for C, but remove the front grille beam altogether.
The sideskirts for C are...just too wide, particularly on the lower edge, looks more like a Transfomer, less like a TL. Pair the skirts from A with the lip from C, drop the grille beam.

Concept A - I feel like the front is too thin in proportion to car and makes the front too sharp. Maybe to halfway of the fog light covers might be nice! Also I don't see the difference from stock for the side skirts for A & B.
Concept B - Same thing goes for B as for A, two wide but I really like the accent at the same time.
In general, I think A & B has the classiness but not quite the mix aggressiveness at the same time that was given to us by the grille.
Concept C - Way too blocky. Front reminds me of a bulldozer. But definitely flows well with the side skirts.

Ron, I know you don't have a price for any of these three ideas. But if you had to take a guess, would they be more or less money per section than the factory lip kit is when you sell them? I am looking to get the factory lip kit in the middle of this year but need to know if I should wait to see how much the kit you choose piques my interest versus the stock lip kit.

Concept A and Concept B have a dark area in the centre of the front spoiler that makes it look like there's a physical cutout.
You might want to investigate why the OEM kit has a real physical cutout in the same place.
They generally research these things pretty well and for whatever reason they didn't want to interfere with the airflow ahead of the underbody spoiler that is factory equipment on all TL. It's there, but it's flexible and black so unless you looked you might not even notice that it is there.
There is a lot of undercarriage aerodynamic plastic under the TL, too.
The whole thing seems very well thought out and I think that if I were thinking about designing something like this I would probably pretty much mimic the OEM kit and give people a reason to prefer my own, either via a lower price or the use of more resilient plastics.

I think the true reason of why the Front Bumper OEM lip kit parts are the way they are, i.e. not extending across the front part of the bumper, was to actually save the front end from scraping parking stops or curbs or large pieces of debris on the ground. If the front of the car gets too low, there is a large chance of it cracking at worst or chipping the paint at best. With an OEM lip kit that makes the front end low, I bet Acura would get a ton of complaints the moment people started to get damage done to it or worse yet, might trigger people to demand from dealerships that they should fix it (since Acura Parts are under warranty, right?)
Therefore, Acura is playing it safe with the front lip by doing what they did. But the performance minded that desire the RonJon kit already know the risks involved and still demand a fuller-looking kit no matter what.

I voted for A, but B is a close second. They seem to flow better with the lines of the car and are not too "gimicky" looking. C just seems a bit out of place (a bit too blocky or chunky IMO).
I could be interested in a set painted, if the price is competitive with the factory offerings...

What about you Rondy? Which one you like the most? ![Roll Eyes](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
Possible to photoshop the Concept A lip to a Black TL? I believe it'll look more sick in that color and attract more people like the RJ front lip!!!

I like C the most, but I know the proportions make it look a little awkward. I really want to do something that lowers the car a bit more than the factory kit, and incorporates a crafty way to incorporate the gray diffuser parts ofr that multiple surface look. I also really want to design something that carries over from the front lip over the wheel well opening into the sideskirts. I'll keep messing with it.

The circle parts are the part impress me the most! Very unique!

If Rondy you like the Concept C and wanted the lip to looks like lowered the car, maybe can you play around with the part that I circle it??? Because to me I think that front is too simple(lowered the car but forgot the design, agree?), and mainly because it looks so thick and bulky.

Concept C looks very blocky/chunky, which is one thing many of us are trying to reduce on the car (especially with the facia replace.) Very late-70s Darth Vader-esque. A is the closest to what I'd want; the additional curves help it match the side panels better.
But I think perhaps trying to subdue it a bit more would be beneficial. Nobody looks at a car for the first time and says, "Oooh, nice front airdam!".
