2012 replacement foglight recommendations?

Hey. Picked up a rock and it destroyed my TL's foglight housing. Looking for some opinions.

I see the OEM part on eBay/Amazon for ~$150. It doesn't look like they're specific to a particular side (L/R agnostic.) But I'm cheap as hell, so I'm curious about some of the off-brand replacements?

The fog lights look pretty easy to replace, and my car is pretty much a commuter vehicle, so I don't drive much at night and am not interested in a real upgrade, just something that will work and look presentable in the parking lot at work.

Are the cheap-o replacement housings "good enough"? Would I want to replace both sides just to keep them looking the same?

Thanks

Hmmm... those don't look like terrible ideas.

Is there a good way to avoid a repeat of the destruction? (I've had this happen before.) Would that 3M paint protection film offer any kind of protection or would it screw with the light output? (I've never seen it applied directly to headlights.)

Morimotos are excellent. I replaced my stockies with them and I'm very pleased. If you don't want to spend quite that much and just looking to replace them with something presentable, I'd be happy to sell you my old stock ones pretty cheap. They're a bit marked up but in perfect condition functionwise.

Actually I have laminX film to make my fogs yellow. It all on it and drive thru snow banks as needed. I wonder if there is a clear version of LaminX film I think it used on door jam. Dude, you could make your fog light red! (after looking at LaminX site)

Got a strange feeling Thoiboi has green fog lights.
